For agencies and small teams

Time tracking for agencies.

One workspace per client, the hours each person owes, approved timesheets, budgets that warn you before you run over, and a report link your client can open. All part of Premium, priced per user.

What your team gets

Team workspaces and roles

Create a workspace for a client and invite people by email. The owner and admins manage it; members track their time. Owners and admins can add time a member forgot, or fix it, on the team client only, and the member sees who added it.

Team contracts

Set the hours each member owes on the team client per week or month, with a start date and an optional team cap. The Team page shows each member's progress, makeup hours from short weeks and the team total. Days off lower a member's target.

Hours per member

Open a teammate's details to see this week and month, the last 8 weeks, recent tickets and every session with its notes. Owners and admins can set a weekly goal for each member, and you can choose to get one email when someone logs no team time for a few days.

Timesheet approvals

Members submit their week. Owners and admins approve it or send it back with a note. An approved week is locked for the member, and reminders go out on the fifth day of the team's week to anyone who hasn't submitted.

Budgets with alerts

Give a client a budget in hours or money, for the whole engagement or each billing period. A budget on the team client counts every member's time, and the owner and admins get an email and a push at 80% and 100%.

Client report links

Share a live timesheet of your hours for a client, by day and ticket. You choose whether it shows notes, amounts and contract progress, and your client needs no account. Each link shows the hours of the person who made it.

Invoices and exports

Build an invoice from your tracked time, with a Stripe payment link your client can pay online. Owners and admins can export every member's sessions as a CSV from the Team overview.

Everyone tracks from the same apps: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple Vision Pro and the web, with Android in a closed beta on Google Play. Timers on Jira, Linear, Asana and ClickUp tickets post the hours back to the ticket. See integrations →

Pricing, per user

There's no separate team plan. Each person on the team needs their own Premium: $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, with a 2-week free trial on the yearly plan.

Questions

Is there a team plan?

No separate one. Team workspaces are part of Premium, and each member needs their own Premium: $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year per user.

Who can approve timesheets?

The workspace owner and its admins. They see who has and hasn't submitted, then approve a week or send it back with a short note. To unlock an approved week, an admin sends it back.

Can admins see a member's other clients?

No. Only hours on the team client are shown, never a member's other clients. Approvals and locked weeks only apply to team client time too.

Do our clients need an account?

No. Report links and invoices open in any browser, and your clients never pay for Tally.
