Time Tracking App for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch

Updated October 2026

Tally is a native time tracker for Apple devices, not a website in a wrapper. Start the timer on your iPhone, stop it on your Mac, and the session is the same everywhere.

iPhone

One tap starts the clock. The running timer stays on your Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and in home screen widgets, so you can check it at a glance and tap it to jump straight back to the timer.

Mac

A native Mac app with a menu bar timer, so the clock is always one click away while you work. Start a session from the menu bar and add a note when you stop.

iPad and Apple Watch

On iPad, Tally uses a sidebar layout made for the bigger screen. On Apple Watch, start and stop timers from your wrist, with complications. (Apple Watch is on Pro.)

Also on the web, Android and Vision Pro

The same account works on the web from any browser, on Android (in closed beta on Google Play), and soon on Apple Vision Pro (in App Store review), where you can place a timer in your room.

Common questions

Is Tally a native app?
Yes. The iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch apps are native Apple apps, and a Vision Pro app is in App Store review. The web dashboard and Android app share the same account.
Does the timer sync between iPhone and Mac?
Yes. Start a timer on one device and stop it on another; the running timer and your sessions sync through your Tally account.
Do I need the iPhone app to use Tally?
No. You can create an account on the web and use it on its own. The apps sync to the same account when you add them.
How much does it cost?
There's a free plan with no time limit and no credit card. See the pricing section on the home page for the paid plans.
